Cement that is versatile and reliable for every application

Cement that is versatile and reliable for every application

Cement is a finely milled mineral powder, usually grey. The most important raw materials for the production of cement are limestone, clay, and marble. Mixed with water, cement serves as an adhesive to bind sand, gravel, and hard rock in concrete. The cement hardens both in the air and underwater and remains in its hardened state once reached.

Cement is usually available in the form of a homogeneous bulk dry good. Its characteristics are standardized in order to ensure the required stability, reliability, and process-ability in the application.

Cements are classified according to their early and final strength as well as their composition. In addition to cement that consists of 100% clinker, there is so-called composite cement, in which a portion of the clinker is replaced by alternative raw materials, such as fly ash, ground slag, or limestone. As the production of clinker is energy-intensive and releases large amounts of CO, the use of alternative raw materials can conserve natural resources and reduce CO emissions.

Depending on the desired application, different types of cement – each with a specific composition – are necessary. Cement characteristics can also be modified through the use of additives. We offer our customers a broad range of cement products, including quality types of cement, special cement with targeted characteristics, special geo technical building materials and an expanded range of binders.

QUICK SET

Quick setting cement is a type of cement that hardens quickly and is used in projects that require fast setting. It's also known as fast setting cement or rapid setting cement.

Properties

  • Fast setting: Sets in 5–10 minutes and hardens in 30 minutes
  • High strength: Can reach 6,000 PSI within 1.5 hours
  • Low shrinkage: Can have as little as 200 micro-strains of shrinkage in 28 days
  • Weather resistant: Can be used in interior spaces and areas exposed to weather
  • Easy to adhere to: Sticks well to materials like wood, brick, concrete, metals, and plastic

Uses

  • Bridge construction
  • Underwater engineering
  • Emergency repairs
  • Repairing concrete pipes, sewers, and culverts
  • Repairing floors, steps, and curbs
  • Repairing cold storage vaults and freezers

We only supply the highest quality like NZS and AS standards. This comes in Bulk or bag form.
